Ultimate Rockies Vacations (URV), a division of Ultimate Vacations Inc, is committed to respecting your privacy and recognizes your need for appropriate protection and management of personally identifiable information you share with us. URV has established this privacy policy, so that you can understand the care with which we intend to treat any information that you may submit to us.
You can visit URV without revealing any personal information about yourself.
As is standard with most hosting providers, URV collects IP addresses through web log software solely for the purpose of measuring traffic and the source of the traffic. An IP address is a number that's automatically assigned to your computer whenever you're surfing the Web. Web servers - the network computers that "serve up" Web pages - automatically identify your computer by its IP address.
When guests request pages from the URV site, our servers log the guests' IP addresses. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that a user's session will be logged, but the user remains anonymous to us.
This site does not have a 'chat' area. We track the total number of visitors to our site and the popularity of each area. This information assists us in providing a technically efficient and creatively fun online experience for all of our website visitors. None of this information is shared or given to any third party.
Why We Collect Data
URV collects personally identifying information only during (i) vacation club registration, and (ii) through email requests directed to us for further information on our services. In addition, information is collected in certain portions of the site in which partners provide content submissions and suggestions. URV may use such information in compliance with our House Rules, or for editorial and feedback purposes (to the extent that is explained when partners provide the information).
Policies for Individuals Under 18
Our goal at URV is to provide a safe, educational site for kids of all ages. While much of our site's content is not considered advertising, it is our intention to present our information according to the guidelines of the Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU) regardless.
To ensure this site remains safe for kids to visit, it is our policy NOT to ask for ANY personal information unless we get parental permission (Parent Consent Form). No real names, addresses, or personal information is asked for or posted on line. URV encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate in the interactive activities offered on the site or any other site.
In addition, site guests under 18 are not permitted to regsiter in our vacation club and are not permitted to use our services without parental consent.
Guests' or partners' e-mail addresses are never posted on URV's site.
Policies for Individuals 18 Years of Age or Older
With the permission of a guest who is 18 years of age or over, information submitted at the time of vacation club registration or during a request for information may be used by URV for internal marketing and promotional purposes. If a guest objects to such use for any reason, he/she may stop that use - either by e-mail request. When you register with URV, every effort will be made to maintain your information in a secure (off-line) environment.
Unless otherwise disclosed during collection, URV does not provide any personally identifying information, regardless of its source, to any third party for any purpose whatsoever without prior written consent.
Cookies
What are cookies? Cookies are pieces of information that a Web site transfers to an individual's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. While UGS strives to protect its users' personal Information and privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online and you therefore do so at your own risk.
Security Policy
The importance of security for all personally identifiable information associated with our guests is of utmost concern to us.
Only those employees who need access to your information in order to do their jobs are allowed access, each having signed comprehensive nondisclosure agreements with URV, which provide explicit legal confidentiality protections. Any employee who violates our privacy and/or security policies is subject to disciplinary action, including possible termination and civil and/or criminal prosecution.
