Course Overview

Eagle Ranch is a spectacular 18-hole championship golf course located in the heart of the Columbia Valley near Invermere, British Columbia. Designed by renowned golf course architect William G. Robinson, Eagle Ranch has been skillfully sculpted from a meandering network of rolling canyons and elevated bluffs. The immaculate 6600-yard course winds itself around ravines, combining tee shots and fairways with panoramic views, stunning perspectives and lush greens. It’s a course where golf and the natural environment coexist in perfect harmony.

This is a course where golf and the natural environment coexist in perfect harmony. To enhance the natural ranch setting, Bill utilized aged beams and recycled wood in the construction of the rest cabins, kiosks and bridges. Beautiful rock work and fescue grasses complement the ponds and streams. We invite you to experience Eagle Ranch, "Home to Eagles and other Birdies".

William G. Robinson, with over 35 years of golf course design experience, is regarded as one of North America's finest master golf designers. Bill is a leader in designing prestigious golf courses in diverse and challenging locations. Eagle Ranch was no exception and presented many unique and delicate environmental challenges. Using his vast experience, Bill was able to create a world-class golf course where golf and the natural environment coexist in perfect harmony.

"The much anticipated 2000 opening surpassed everyone's expectations," proudly states Director of Golf Wayne Rossington. "Time and time again, golfers complimented us on the spectacular golf holes, the exceptional customer service and the overall condition of the golf course."

Bill Robinson (Olympic View & Cordova Bay on Vancouver Island, and Goose Hummock in Edmonton) confirms everyone's opinion as he talks enthusiastically about Eagle Ranch. "What a magnificent piece of property for a golf course," says Bill. "There are two distinctly different environments on this course; the open fairways and 360 degree views of the valley in the upper section, and the quiet serenity of the mini canyons."

At Eagle Ranch, the par 4 ninth and tenth, and par 5 eighteenth holes all require shots across deep gorges. Each shot is increasingly more challenging and each can make or break a round. Several trees remain at prominent positions on fairways, especially the 'goal-post firs' on the 332 yard, par 4 seventh hole.

The course offers very diverse terrain following the natural contours of the site resulting in unusual and challenging holes throughout. There are multiple tee boxes on every hole which allow the course to adjust to the skill level of any player. Natural features and views from the golf course are spectacular.
