ATV Offroading in the Canadian Rockies
If your feet are getting a little sore from all the hiking, perhaps its time to consider taking in the spectacular scenery of the Canadian Rockies on an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) or in the comfort of a Hummer Offroad Vehicle. ATV tours in Banff and surrounding areas are an exceptional way to view wildlife, spectacular waterfalls, pristine glacial lakes and learn about the history of the area. These tours take you off the beaten path, where few tourists ever venture.
If you have your own ATV, be sure to do some research before heading out to explore the Canadian Rockies. Most National Parks (including Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Glacier, Waterton and Kootenay) and Provincial Parks do not permit ATV or 4WD vehicles off of designated highways and roads. The most popular exceptions are the areas west of Mt. Robson and Kootenay National Park in the BC Rockies. In Alberta, the McLean Creek Off Highway Vehicle Zone in Kananaskis Country offers excellent challenges for the off-road enthusiast year-round.

Paradise Mine ATV Tour

Come experience the thrill of riding an ATV up 9000 vertical feet. Journey into the past and visit the remnants of the early 1900's Silver Mining town while you summit Paradise Mountain.
Transportation to Toby Creek is included from Banff and the scenery on the drive into British Columbia is tremendous.
Helmets are provide for you and your trip includes snacks and refreshments. Drivers must be 16 or older and a minimum of 100 lbs. |

Banff Hummer Tours

We will pick you up from your accommodation at the arranged time and take a short scenic drive to rugged front ranges of the Rockies where we can truly experience what a Hummer can do in extreme mountain terrain. We'll climb impossibly steep hills, drive along a fast and clear mountain river, drive through mud holes (what a hoot this is) and in generally go where no other 4 x 4 would dare to go - you'll be amazed and we guarantee that you'll have fun.
During the summer months we will find a pristine and isolated spot of beauty for a hearty lunch and soak up the scenery. You can have a short hike, haul out the camera or try your luck with the fish, the choice is yours. We have many options, just let us know what you would like to do.
Winter is also a great time for a hummer tour. From the time the first serious snow flies in the Rockies until April, the back country winter experience is something you need to see first hand. We can custom design a winter package that you will remember for a life time. With the HUMMER's incredible mobility we will show areas usually accessed by snowmobiles. We have guided or unguided tours, track set or untracked powder. All you have to do is ask.
