Each of the 133 units - studios, lofts, condos and rustic chalets are equipped with a full modern kitchen and most have a wood-burning fireplace with free firewood. Douglas Fir also provides a variety of guest facilities including outdoor barbecues, limited indoor parking, coin laundry, convenience store and a liquor store!

The unit types at Douglas Fir Resort include a Studio, 1 Bedroom, Loft, and 1 Bedroom Loft. There are also a variety of executive suites and 2BR and 3BR A-frame chalets available upon request.
Studio Units - These comfortable studio units have free indoor heated parking, elevator access and includes full modern kitchen (standard size fridge, stove with cook-top and oven, microwave, pots and pans, dinnerware, silverware, dishwasher, misc. kitchen utensils), woodburning fireplace, free firewood, cable TV, hair dryer, in-room safe, iron & board, dual line phone with data port, free daily coffee, bathroom amenities, daily maid service, recycle bins, balcony. Studios can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and feature 1 Queen, 1 double sofa bed and one full bathroom.
One Bedroom Condo - These one bedroom condo units have a free dedicated parking stall with plug-in and includes full modern kitchen (standard size fridge, stove with cook-top and oven, microwave, pots and pans, dinnerware, silverware, dishwasher, misc. kitchen utensils), woodburning fireplace, free firewood, cable TV, hair dryer, in-room safe, iron & board, dual line phone with data port, free daily coffee, bathroom amenities, daily maid service, recycle bins. One bedroom units can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and feature 1 Queen in master, 1 double sofa bed or pull down bed in den, and one full bathroom.
Lodge Loft Unit - These 2 level loft units have free indoor heated parking, elevator access and includes full modern kitchen (standard size fridge, stove with cook-top and oven, microwave, pots and pans, dinnerware, silverware, dishwasher, misc. kitchen utensils), woodburning fireplace, free firewood, cable TV, hair dryer, in-room safe, iron & board, dual line phone with data port, free daily coffee, bathroom amenities, daily maid service, recycle bins, balcony. Lodge Loft units can accommodate a maximum of 6 people and feature 2 Queens in loft, 1 double sofa bed in living room, and one full bathroom.
One Bedroom Plus Loft - These one bedroom loft condo units have a free dedicated parking stall with plug-in and includes full modern kitchen (standard size fridge, stove with cook-top and oven, microwave, pots & pans, dinnerware, silverware, dishwasher, misc. kitchen utensils), woodburning fireplace, free firewood, cable TV, hair dryer, in-room safe, iron & board, dual line phone with data port, free daily coffee, bathroom amenities, daily maid service, recycle bins. One Bedroom Loft units can accommodate a maximum of 6 people and feature 2 Queens in loft, 1 Queen in master, 1 double sofa bed in living room, and one and a half full bathroom.

* Rates are based on single or double occupancy. Additional $15 per person, per night. No charge for children 14 and under sharing room.
* Light housekeeping is provided daily with fresh towels supplied upon request. Stays of 5 nights or longer will be scheduled for a linen change after 3 nights. Full daily service is available upon a request basis.
* Rates are subject to change without notice and do not include applicable taxes of 7% GST (which is recoverable from the Canadian government for non-Canadian citizens) and 5% Alberta Hotel Tax.
Deposits
A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation with a one night deposit applicable. Full prepayment is required 7-30 days in advance depending on the time of year.
Cancellation Policy
There is no Penalty for cancellations received 3 days or more prior to arrival (14 days during X-Mas season). Cancellations received less than 3 days prior to arrival (14 days during X-Mas) and no shows are non-refundable.

Guests can check-in any time after 4:00pm and check-out before 11:00am. We will assist you in accommodating special arrival times and departure times, whenever possible.
